From the Home tab, you can take a quick look at the latest news of the day, with articles from reputable outlets like CNBC, ESPN, CNET, and Deadline. In fact, you'll follow these media outlets by default, but you can stop following them if you're not interested in what they provide. This way, you'll only see news from your favorite channels, and you can automatically skip the rest.

From Local News: Breaking & Latest's Home tab, you can also customize your feed by choosing your favorite topics and tags. Not interested in news about movies or art in general? All you have to do is say so. Only want to read sports and lifestyle-related news? Say no more; all you have to do is limit your feed to those topics. Creating your own news feed is very easy.

The Local tab, which only works properly for users living in the United States, displays more regional news. Of course, the quantity and quality of this news depends entirely on the media outlets in your city or state. So, if your area doesn't have a specialized news outlet to provide a steady stream of local news, you may have to make do with state news instead.
